Experiential Learning Fund

Each academic year, the SEF Board sets aside up to $800 per grade level for teaching teams to provide enriching educational experiences for students.  These grants are called Experiential Learning Fund (ELF) and may be applied for any time during the school year.  Recent ELF grants include field trips, artistic performances, and team-building activities.  The teaching team at a particular grade level and the corresponding building administrator determine how to spend these monies.  These grants are intended to benefit the entire grade as much as possible. Once a decision has been made, an ELF application is sent to the SEF Executive Director, and the monies, up to $800, are distributed to the District for use by the grade-level team.
